The following are some of the past custom kits I've completed, some of which you can find for sale on my Etsy store. More photos of these builds are on my Instagram.

Out-of-box straight builds aren't quite enough for me anymore. After several years in the hobby, I choose each new project once I'm inspired to create a truly unique custom piece.

Commission Information

I offer completely unique custom Gunpla commissions. I accept one commission order per quarter. If I am currently not accepting orders, I will indicate it on my Instagram page.I accept commission orders for:• All grades of Bandai Gundam model kits
• “Mecha Musume” kits (ATK Girl, Eastern Model, Frame Arms Girl, etc.)
• Kotobukiya model kits (30MM, Frame Arms, Metal Gear, etc.)
• Resin conversion kits (base kit customization included).
• Gundam Artifact kits.

Deposit Information

Every commission requires a nonrefundable deposit. I only accept deposits through PayPal. This deposit will cover the cost of the kit and the materials needed to complete your order. Please note, I am currently NOT accepting packages from commission clients. The kit you would like me to customize must be available for purchase from:• Newtype HQ
• The USA Gundam Store
• The Gundam Place Store
• Big Bad Toy Store
To eliminate the possibility of bootleg/scam issues, I will not order kits from eBay or Amazon (one exception would be Bandai’s official Amazon store page).Once we confirm the details of your commission order, I will provide a quote for the full project price. Your deposit will be a down payment, not a separate charge. For example, if I quote $800 for a commission with a $200 deposit, you pay the deposit upfront and pay the remaining $600 upon completion, and I will ship your completed order.I will make it as clear as possible how much I need for your deposit, and how much you must pay for the finished project. Once we have ironed out these details, I will then set up a shopping cart from the appropriate store for your requested kit and any paints needed for your order.

The deposit covers the initial cost of your project’s base materials, paints I must use to complete the project, and wear-and-tear on my tools. I use lacquer paints for base coating, enamel paints for panel lines and hand-painted details, acrylics for weathering, and oil paints for filters/grease washes. After I receive your deposit, I will place the order for your materials, and once they arrive, I will notify you and immediately begin to work on your commission. In the event I happen to already have the kit you want to have customized in my backlog, I will provide you with a receipt showing the purchase price and start work right away!PLEASE NOTE: If at any point you decide you do not want to complete payment for the full commission, your deposit will not be refunded. I will keep the kit and other materials purchased for the order, and I will likely complete the project anyway and list the finished kit for sale on my Etsy store! I wish to be as clear as possible: Please do not pay a deposit for a commission order unless you are completely comfortable with the quoted full project price.

Commission Pricing

I aim to be as reasonable and flexible as possible with commission order pricing. If you want the cheapest commission possible, select a kit you want to have customized, and let me know what color scheme or theme you would like. Creative freedom allows me to take your base idea and turn it into something truly unique. No one will see the finished product until you unbox it.All kits I produce are made with posing in mind, so I take time to mask joint connections to ensure your finished kit is fully poseable. Please note that this process can be more difficult with some kits than others. If your project includes any such issues, I will let you decide whether you prefer paint coverage or posing ability. If you would like a static pose for your kit (i.e., you don’t plan on changing the pose at all), I am able to paint the inner frame in larger sections and disregard joint masking, which will make your commission faster to complete and a bit cheaper. For static Gunpla poses, I will always ensure the head is moveable, even if the rest of the body is not.

If you have a very specific project in mind, a few things that will make your project more expensive and more time-consuming include:Custom scribing. I am a confident scriber, and if you would like new details scribed into your kit I will provide WIP photos of design ideas drawn in pencil, so you know what it will look like before I start actually scribing. Please note, once you have confirmed your scribing design there is no turning back! I can also use putty to remove panel lines if desired, but I will not go back and forth adding and then removing newly scribed lines. This degrades the stability of the kit and dramatically increases project completion time.Resin conversion. I love the challenge that a resin kit presents, but they are inherently far more demanding than a standard custom Gunpla. I will also ask for a larger deposit, and please note that most resin conversion kits cost more than $150-$200 and are produced in limited quantities. For example, if you are asking for an MG conversion with a base kit that costs $60 and a resin conversion kit that costs $200, your deposit would be roughly $300 so that I could purchase the base materials. Due to the time, effort, and wear-and-tear on my tools that resin kits require, these will be my most expensive commission projects.NOTE ABOUT RESIN KIT PRICING: If you order a resin conversion and the base kit will have extra parts, I can send them to you with your finished build, but if you allow me to keep them for my own kitbashing purposes I will take this into account when quoting your project price!

Custom waterslide decals. I can print custom waterslide decals, but with limitations. I cannot print in white, and the decals you request must be on a lightly colored surface. The best results are dark-colored decals on light-colored surfaces.Weathering. I can do any type of weathering from very light chipping to battle damage and “gunk washes” and oil filters. Please note, if your weathering will require oil paints, this will automatically add at least 5-7 days of drying time to your project timeline.Mecha Musume skin tone painting. This type of painting is more demanding than standard mech painting. If you order a Mecha Musume commission and want to save a bit of money, I can do basic flesh detailing with pastels and a matte finish on the bare skin pieces. Please note that I will use waterslide decals for your kit’s eyes, I do not hand-paint them. I do accept nude/semi-nude/NSFW Mecha Musume commissions but bear in mind that the additional parts needed for these builds are often difficult to find/expensive to procure. Additionally, I will only complete NSFW Mecha Musume commissions using model kit depictions of characters over the age of 18.

LEDs. I offer LED wiring, but please be aware that the more lights you want, the less poseable your kit becomes, and it will take longer to complete. A single LED for the eyes, for example, will be less expensive than LEDs throughout the entire kit. Currently, I am limited to wired LEDs, but if you already have a wireless LED platform, I can order a set of appropriately colored wireless LEDs and install them into your build. LEDs will come with a 9V battery pack and battery. If your requested build takes Bandai LEDs, I have many available in several colors that can be included with your kit.Kitbashing. Do you want to see something truly unique? I offer kitbashing commissions, but you MUST provide reference material for your vision. Once I start hacking and slashing pieces together, there may be no going back! We need to be as clear as possible on these details. As with resin conversions, allowing me to keep the leftover parts after I complete your build will be reflected in your quoted project price!Hopefully, these pointers will help you gauge just how simple or complex your commission will be. I will provide an estimate of how long your project will take, and we will work together to make sure we’re on the same page before any money changes hands and any work begins.

Project Updates

Once you have paid your deposit and work has started, I will contact you regularly with project update photos and to confirm details along the way. For example, once you have decided on a color scheme for your kit, I will send high-resolution photos of test spoons in the chosen palette so you can confirm them for the project. I will also send a “test fit” photo that shows the built kit out of the box before I begin customization. However, please be aware that depending on the type of kit you want, I may not do a test fitting to avoid breaking very sensitive/tightly fitting pieces.Should any unforeseen circumstances arise that interfere with my estimated project completion time, I will let you know immediately.PLEASE NOTE: Depending on the monitor and/or device you use to view WIP shots of your project, the colors may appear slightly different once you receive the final build. All photos, including both WIP and finished build photos, are taken with my Google Pixel 7 Pro and I do not use any post-processing for any photos. My goal is “what you see is what you get.”Once I complete your commission and receive full payment, it will be carefully boxed in custom-fitted high-density foam that I carve by hand, with all included accessories and the original instruction manual, signed by me. I currently only offer commission work for clients within the United States. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number, and I will ensure the kit’s box is as carefully protected as possible.

Thematic Elements

I do not have any reservations about producing commissions that are thematically explicit. Gore, nudity, controversial political themes, etc. are all fair game. I will not, however, produce any content whatsoever that involves/implies/promotes any type of harm to children. If you are interested in a NSFW Mecha Musume kit or similar, the subject of the piece must be over the age of 18.I will not copy any other modeler's work. If you have seen a custom piece online that you like, do not ask me to copy it. You can ask for something inspired by/similar to what they've done and/or a similar color scheme, but that's as far as I will go.If your kit comes with pilot figures, the seated figure will be hand-painted and placed inside the cockpit of the mobile suit. I plan to keep the standing pilots for all the kits I complete as my "trophies." However, this is negotiable if you really want the standing pilot with your commissioned mobile suit.

I reserve the right to post photos of the completed build once I finish it to my social media profiles, and I will not post any of your identifying information at all, anywhere. If you would like to post pictures of your commission, I encourage you to do so wherever you like! All I ask is for you to credit my work appropriately with a link to my Instagram. If you would like to pull the trigger on ordering a commission from me, you'll find my email link below.
